Aristotle was certainly not the first to speak of the tragedy but, of course, was that in ancient times made it a more detailed study. In fact, assuming that the tragedy, like all art forms, is the imitation, get to explain its innermost meaning, which is that of purification, catharsis. The tragedy is a lesson for man, one should be taught how to behave, or simply by watching or reading. According to Aristotle, high tragedy is what gives rise to feelings of terror and pity, which is essential for catharsis, even just reading it, a good tragedy must then keep those fees which he describes: the famous three units of time, place and action, then follow a logical consistency, is divided into a prologue, that is, who is a full part of the tragedy that precedes the entrance of the choir, the episode, a full share of tragedy between two choral singing, the exodus is a full part of the tragedy that follows is not singing the chorus. An essential part of the tragedy are the protagonists, who, according to Aristotle, should be as human as possible in fact, the author should first identify with them in all their best to study psychology. One particular study and then be thoroughly dedicated to the choir, the most important character in the tragedy, represents the opinion of many, that may influence whether or not the unfolding of the whole tragedy.
